Ethics & Sustainability

We care about our planet and are committed to a sustainable approach across our business. We always looking for ways to minimise our environmental impact. Here’s how we are trying:

Conscious production practices

We filter, clean and recycle all water used in our production and our factory produces zero gas emissions.

We don’t use glue in our stone settings.

We recycle gold and silver in our production.

Our gemstones are responsibly sourced from certificated mines.

We are working to eliminate all the plastic in our supply chain and where possible we source plastics that can be reused or recycled.

Gemstones, gold and silver

We use only ethically sourced natural gemstones in our production which means they aren't resin filled or dyed, and come from trusted, regulated sources.

We only use Diamonds from conflict free zones, untreated and of natural origin in compliance with all UN regulations adhering to The Kimberley Process: a commitment to remove conflict diamonds from the global supply chain.

Our pure gold and silver bullion are sourced from ethical miners whose extraction processes are strictly regulated and we increasingly use recycled gold
and silver in our production as much as we possibly can.

Packaging

Our boxes are made using Colourplan paper from G.F. Smith, which is made with pulp from FSC managed forests, recycled cardboard, and lined with linen which is not only 100% biodegradable but has a much lighter footprint that cotton or any man–made suede lining.

We want our packaging to be the perfect place to store your jewellery, but should you need to dispose of it, rest assured it can go straight into the recycle bin in its entirety.

We care

We are always looking for ways we can improve when it comes to planet friendly measures to conserve our environment.

We are looking for partners and collaborators who uphold the same values. If you have any suggestions to help us further minimize our environmental impact, we would love to hear from you: info@luceir.com
